Who is “Grey Council Prod.”?
There is a simple answer in here somewhere. Basically we are two people who started to make music videos some years ago. I guess it was around 2000. Not with the computer, so some of those videos only exsist on VHS.
Then came TV/Video cards for computers and now the vids look much smoother. No more rough cuts and wobbly sound. We’ve become totally digital.
(The “we” is Ern and Berry, by the way.)
When we first brought our vids online, we had to find a name. So one of us came up with “Grey Council” – after the leaders of the Minbari in “Babylon 5”. We were totally into Babylon 5 at the time. And still are. Over the years we have ventured into other shows, though. “Buffy” is the main subject of our creativity right now. I’m still very proud of my first “Buffy” video and I think that Ern has a nice video around the corner there too.
We don’t label our videos with our name, simply because we just belong together in this somehow.
We are taking in other vidders as well. Giles Fan is online here at the moment, the “Buffy” vids she does fit right in. So this is all about good music videos really. And living out one’s creativity.
The videos here are in RealMedia format. We tried several formats first, I know the Apple users are hating RealMedia, but it’s the format we chose.
