OTHER FIRST ONES

Millions and millions of years ago, the First Ones ruled the galaxy. The first of the First Ones was Lorien's almost immortal race, who could die of illness or injury, but never of old age.

In time other races were born, including the Shadows and the Vorlons. These races, although long-lived, weren't immortal. When the younger races began to gain ground in the galaxy some million years ago, most of the First Ones went beyond the Rim. Some stayed behind, thouhg, hiding on their homeworlds or guiding the younger races. In 2261 even the last of the First Ones (including Lorien, who was now the last of his race) left beyond the Rim.
